MEN'S WINTER HIKING BOOTS
$169.99 USD MSRP
Winter hiking holds its own allure—the pristine landscape, solitude, and the sharp bite of cold. A winter boot has to perform, though. Insulation, a thicker sole, and a taller cuff must improve performance, not sacrifice it. The Arrowhead UltraDry™ delivers all the technical specs for a snow-packed speed-hike, snowshoe, or just getting out of the driveway. We customized the Arrowhead with winter-specific elements like 200g of 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation, the ColdHold Vasque Venture sole and a reflective lining. It’s just the boot to keep moving through winter.
A waterproof 1.6mm PU coated leather keeps snow and moisture at bay, while the softshell material provides garment-like fit and element protection. A molded TPU heel counter adds structure, secures a snowshoe binding strap and offers a convenient kick-off for removing the boots. A zippered shroud protects the Kevlar speed lacing system from snow and slush and a generous heel pull-on loop is glove friendly. Inside, 200g of Thinsulate™ insulation, a heat reflective liner and a plush fleece lining assure warmth and comfort, while Vasque’s own UltraDry™ waterproof membrane rounds out a full winter protection system.
The Vasque Venture outsole utilizes our proprietary dual density rubber compound, ColdHold Technology, which adheres to cold surfaces with hard, biting perimeter lugs, and softer, more compliant center lugs. A molded EVA midsole provides a comfortable ride while an instep TPU shank delivers midfoot support.
