The Propsters Get Ready for their West Coast Swing of the Get Out More Tour

Aug 22, 2012

This past July, Sheri and Randy Propster set up shop at FloydFest 11 ~ Lovers Rock, Floyd, VA’s famous outdoor music festival. Throughout the weekend, they provided product demos, skills clinics, and inspiration to aspiring and active outdoor enthusiasts. They were there with their Backpacker Magazine Get Out More Tour Booth, their Cricket Trailer and their Montana wrapped Subaru. Festival goers were able to rack up on some amazing SWAG Giveaways too. See more here.

Sheri and Randy then traveled to Salt Lake City, UT where they attended the Summer Outdoor Retailer Show. Venturing around the ‘Salt Palace’, they were pumped to see all the latest and greatest gear in the outdoor industry.

What’s next on the GOMT schedule? Here’s what they shared with us for their next GOMT stage:

The Get Out More Tour has officially started the Western swing! We are excited to spend the end of August in the mighty mountains of Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and Idaho. With visits to Yellowstone National Park and remote terrain like the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, our passion for wild places will certainly be refreshed over the next few weeks.

September will mark the beginning of the West coast swing of the Tour. As we cruise from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California we can't wait to explore the diverse and varied terrain that Washington, Oregon, and California have to offer. The weathered, salt, and sand battered coastal hiking, the ancient redwood forests, the granite Sierra peaks, and a visit to Kings Canyon will certainly be a few of the highlights we feel fortunate to have the opportunity to experience along the way. We are really excited to have the flagship REI in Seattle produce a live webcast of our Wednesday, September 5th Get Out More presentation.

Sheri and Randy will be promoting the webcast through social media (nationally) and through local media outlets. Be sure to become a fan of them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. Watch the webcast live on September 5th at 7 p.m. pdt (4 p.m. edt) at
