From narrow niche to broad-based believers.  Mindbender took people by surprise. Created specifically as a long-distance warrior, the stable but agile Mindbender quickly caught on with a much wider audience.

But let’s start at the beginning: there’s nothing harder on the feet than endurance trail running. While the terrain constantly changes throughout a race, so do a runner’s feet. To accommodate the natural spread and movement of the forefoot, not to mention the inevitable swelling during distance events, the Mindbender features the Perpetuum last coupled with a wider toe box.

The shoe was promptly embraced by the distance community, going on to set the women’s course record at the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc. But of course stability, agility, and fit appeal to more than just the ultra crowd. Today the Mindbender is worn by a wide range of trail runners, thruhikers, fast packers, and general comfort seekers alike.
